On Tuesday, 25 November 2025, between 12:30 and 13:30, it will not be Members of Parliament but children who take the blue seats in the plenary hall. It is time again for the Childrens Question Hour.

Children from groups 7 and 8 of primary schools from Geldermalsen, Bunnik, Sint Maartensdijk, Stamproy, and Heemstede will debate with government officials in the plenary hall of the House of Representatives. The five schools each pose a question to four state secretaries about topics they consider important.

Following the Raemakers motion and others, the Childrens Question Hour has been held annually since November 2018. The 2025 edition takes place on Tuesday, 25 November, from 12:30 to 13:30. House of Representatives Speaker Thom van Campen chairs the Childrens Question Hour. It will be broadcast live on the House of Representatives website, via the Debat Direct app, and via NPO Politiek.
