The new House of Representatives was installed on Wednesday, November 12. After Speaker Martin Bosma, the other 149 members took the oath or declaration and promise.

Oath or Declaration and Promise
The new and re-elected members stood up after the Clerk called their names. In alphabetical order, they declared: So truly help me God Almighty or That I declare and promise.
Election of Speaker
After the swearing-in of all members, the House finalized the profile for the Speaker. One of the 150 members will be elected as Speaker next week. The candidacy for the Speaker position is now open. In a plenary session on Tuesday, November 18 at 1:00 PM, candidates may present their motivation. Other members can ask questions about the candidacy. Afterwards, a vote will take place. The question hour will be canceled that day.
Setting the Agenda
The first meeting day of the new House of Representatives was concluded with a work schedule. The members set the agenda for the coming week.
