Van Campen formally handed over the assignment to Letschert in the Wttwaall van Stoetwegenzaal. The informateur will provide a briefing for the press at 7:15 PM. 

Assignment

The House of Representatives appointed Letschert as informateur during the debate on cabinet formation on Wednesday, December 10. The House asks Letschert to guide the process in which D66, CDA, and VVD work towards an agreement on which a stable cabinet can be formed. The new informateur has been requested to complete this assignment by January 30 at the latest.

What does an informateur do?
