advertentieFor the 3 newly appointed ministers and the 3 newly appointed state secretaries, the relevant political parties will propose candidates in the coming period. For all candidate ministers and candidate state secretaries, the usual investigations will take place. They will then be sworn in at the suggestion of the Prime Minister in the presence of His Majesty the King.
Until this entire process is completed, the current replacement scheme applies.
The distribution is as follows:
Minister of Asylum and Migration
The Minister of Justice and Security (VVD) will be responsible for the management of the Department of Asylum and Migration and the matters concerning the asylum procedure and foreigners (IND), return and departure (DTenV), asylum emergency measures law, detention of foreigners, border control, and criminalization of non-cooperation in return.
The Minister of Social Affairs and Employment (NSC) will also be responsible for matters concerning migration, international agreements with countries of origin, and the EU migration pact.
The Minister of Housing and Spatial Planning (BBB) will also be responsible for matters concerning the COA and reception policy, municipal housing, Ukrainian refugees, the two-status system bill, the distribution law, and the abolition of the target setting and priority for status holders.
Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Aid
The Minister of Foreign Affairs (NSC) will also be responsible for matters concerning development aid.
Minister of Economic Affairs
VVD nominates a candidate minister.
Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport
NSC nominates a candidate minister.
Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management
BBB nominates a candidate minister.
State Secretary for Justice and Security
The State Secretary for Legal Protection (NSC) will also be responsible for matters concerning the portfolio of the former State Secretary of JenV, including DJI.
The State Secretary for Participation and Integration (VVD) will also be responsible for matters concerning integration.
State Secretary for Kingdom Relations and Digitalization
The State Secretary for Recovery Groningen (BBB) will also be responsible for matters concerning kingdom relations and digitalization.
State Secretary for Long-term and Social Care
BBB nominates a candidate state secretary.
State Secretary for Public Transport and Environment
VVD nominates a candidate state secretary.
State Secretary for Foreign Trade
NSC nominates a candidate state secretary.
