On November 7 and 8, the Prime Minister will make a short stop in Curaçao and Aruba. Subsequently, on November 8, the Prime Minister will travel to Santa Marta, Colombia, to participate in the CELAC-EU summit. This summit is organized by the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) and the EU. The summit offers opportunities to further strengthen the partnership between the EU and CELAC and to confirm the EUs position as a reliable partner of the LAC region.

Prime Minister Schoof participates in COP30 and CELAC-EU summit and visits Curaçao and Aruba
Prime Minister Schoof will participate in the COP30 climate summit on November 6 and 7, 2025, in Belém, Brazil. Key topics include member states contributions to achieving the 1.5-degree target, climate adaptation, implementation, and climate finance. During COP30, the Prime Minister will address other government leaders and participate in various thematic sessions.
