Cheering ban remains in effect
Furthermore, the ban on shouting and singing in groups, also known as the cheering ban at demonstrations, sports events, and concerts, remains in effect.
All children to school and daycare
For families in quarantine, there was sometimes a rule that children aged 4 to 12 were allowed to go to daycare and school. For example, families returning from an area with COVID-19 orange code. Today it was decided that children aged 0 to 4 are also allowed to go to daycare, sports, and school.
Changes in nursing homes
Staff in nursing homes are better prepared for possible infections. Among other things, by learning to recognize symptoms, gaining experience with isolation, and using extra personal protective equipment. It is also being investigated whether residents and staff can be tested preventively when infections increase in the immediate vicinity. In case of an outbreak in a nursing home, all residents and staff are tested weekly.
Expansion of coronavirus dashboard information
Finally, the Coronavirus Dashboard is being further expanded. As of September 1, 2020, it now also shows figures per municipality. This makes it increasingly possible to take more targeted measures.
