Hugo de Jonge is 47 years old. He has been the acting Kings Commissioner in the province of Zeeland since September 2024, following the departure of Mr. Han Polman. Before that, De Jonge was the Minister of Housing and Spatial Planning and of Interior and Kingdom Relations.

Appointment of the Kings Commissioner in Zeeland
The Council of Ministers has agreed, at the proposal of Minister Uitermark of Interior and Kingdom Relations, to nominate Mr. H.M. (Hugo) de Jonge for appointment as the Kings Commissioner in the province of Zeeland. The appointment will take effect on July 1, 2025.
