Mariëtte Hamer is currently Government Commissioner for Sexual Transgressive Behavior and Sexual Violence. Previously, she served as Chairperson of the Social and Economic Council and as a Member of Parliament. She was also Chairperson of the Benefits and Child Removal Committee and an informateur in the run-up to the Rutte IV cabinet. She will start on November 1, 2025, provided that the Royal Decree follows this nomination.

Appointment of Chairperson of the Council for Public Administration
The Council of Ministers, on the proposal of Minister Rijkaart of the Ministry of Interior and Kingdom Relations, has approved the appointment of Mariëtte Hamer as Chairperson of the Council for Public Administration (ROB).
