Donations and Debts
The overviews of donations and debts of political parties cover the period from October 9, 2025, to October 29, 2025. The overviews include donations of €1,000 or more and debts of €25,000 or more. A donation is a monetary contribution or a contribution in kind. Membership fees and payments from political office holders are also considered donations. Previously, the ministry published the overviews of donations to parties and candidates and debts of parties for the period up to October 8, 2025.
All political parties have submitted the overviews. The Committee for the Supervision of Political Party Finances (Ctfpp) advises the minister on the overviews submitted by the political parties. The Ctfpps advice will be sent to the House of Representatives in early 2026, together with a substantive response.
Additional Obligations During Election Period
The Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations annually publishes overviews of donations and debts of political parties. Prior to a House of Representatives election, the ministry publishes a supplementary overview of donations and debts of all participating political parties. After the election, the ministry publishes a second overview of donations and debts of all participating political parties with a seat in the House or Senate. This overview covers the last three weeks up to and including election day. These publications provide insight into how parties obtain their resources prior to the election.
