Welcome Ceremony
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima officially welcome the Sultan at Dam Square in Amsterdam. After the delegations are introduced, the Marine Band of the Royal Netherlands Navy & Drummers and Pipe Players play the national anthems of both countries. Following this, the guard of honor is inspected. The Dutch authorities are then introduced at the Royal Palace Amsterdam, after which a reception takes place. A private lunch also occurs.
Wreath Laying
Sultan Haitham bin Tarik lays a wreath at the National Monument at Dam Square.
Afternoon
CEO Business Meeting
The Sultan and the King meet various Dutch companies interested in doing business in Oman. The meeting is accompanied by the chairman of VNO-NCW.
Evening
State Banquet
In the evening, the Royal Couple hosts a state banquet at the Royal Palace Amsterdam. King Willem-Alexander and Sultan Haitham bin Tarik give a speech. Her Royal Highness the Princess of Orange is also present at the state banquet.

Visit to the States General
The Sultan visits the States General in The Hague. He meets the chairman of the Senate, Mr. Jan Anthonie Bruijn, and the chairman of the House of Representatives, Mr. Martin Bosma.
Afternoon
Government Lunch
Sultan Haitham bin Tarik is received by Prime Minister Schoof at Duivenvoorde Castle in Voorschoten. The government lunch takes place in the presence of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima and focuses on the bilateral relations between the Netherlands and Oman. Topics include economic and trade relations, cooperation in energy transition and green hydrogen production. Developments in the region are also discussed. During lunch, the Prime Minister and the Sultan give a speech.
