The state visit is a consolidation of the friendship between the two countries. The Netherlands and the Czech Republic are partners with shared values, shared history, and common priorities in various areas, working closely together within the European Union and NATO. The countries collaborate, learn from each other, and strengthen one another. During the visit, cooperation in areas such as defense industry, trade promotion, energy security and transition, and enhancing societal resilience will be central.

Under the leadership of Minister Beljaarts, an economic program will take place focusing on sustainable mobility, digitalization, and circularity.
