Program
The Ambassadors Conference 2026 discusses what is needed for a decisive, effective, and future-proof foreign policy. This year, the focus is on strengthening our position within the EU and NATO and deepening relations with regions around Europe, emerging non-Western countries, and the most promising markets. This cooperation is essential for increasing the security and resilience of the Netherlands.
During the conference, the ministers of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation will engage in discussions with diplomats about the strategic choices facing the Netherlands. They will also be received by His Majesty the King and have talks with, among others, the Prime Minister and members of the House of Representatives and Senate.
On Tuesday, February 3, the ambassadors will visit the Cleantech Park in Arnhem. The annual business day takes place there. In this region, various company visits will take place, and the ambassadors will talk with entrepreneurs about trade and export opportunities.
