NATO Public Forum Live on YouTube
The 2-day public event NATO Public Forum started today and will be available online for everyone to follow in the coming days. Participants from home and abroad, including heads of government, ministers, youth, academics, and opinion makers, discussed the themes of this NATO summit and global developments affecting our security.
Also on Wednesday, June 25, the forum can be followed live via the YouTube channel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the name NATO Public Forum Live. More information about the program can be found at www.natopublicforum.org.
Defense Ministers and Industry in Discussion
Additionally, the NATO Summit Defence Industry Forum took place. Ministers, experts, and top figures from the defense industry of NATO allies came together to discuss how the defense industry can be rapidly scaled up and strengthened. The goal: a stronger, sustainable, and future-proof defense industry.
Meeting between NATO, EU, and Ukraine
NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, the European Union, and Ukraine met in The Hague for a consultation.
President Zelensky Visits the House of Representatives and Prime Minister Schoof
The Ukrainian President Zelensky visited the House of Representatives, where he addressed the members. In the morning, he had a separate meeting with Prime Minister Schoof at the Catshuis. This visit was not part of the official program of the summit.
Royal Dinner at Palace Huis ten Bosch
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima hosted the heads of state and government leaders of NATO countries for an informal dinner on Tuesday evening. Leaders from Australia, New Zealand, and Ukraine, the Director of the National Security of South Korea, and the chairs of the European Union and the European Council were also present.
Working Dinners of NATO Ministers
The foreign ministers gathered for a working dinner of the NATO-Ukraine Council. At the same time, defense ministers met during a working dinner of the North Atlantic Council. Both meetings took place at the World Forum in The Hague. Prior to this, there was a joint reception.
