RVO assists Defence with knowledge and expertise in public-private partnerships to optimally set up Defport. The goal is faster production and delivery of military equipment.

Revenue of defense companies nearly doubled

Defence allocates over €1 billion for scaling up innovation and production. A strong defense industry is essential for the militarys effectiveness and offers opportunities for the economy and labor market. The Netherlands now has around 900 defense companies, with their combined revenue nearly doubling to over €9 billion in 3 years.
