More time for action with new radars for drone detection

The radars give the armed forces more time to take action. Various units across Defence deploy the radar. Furthermore, they are distributed over air force bases and other critical infrastructure.

Due to the urgency, both Defence and Robin Radar are committed to the fastest possible delivery. This is related to incidents where drones were spotted over the Volkel and Eindhoven airbases.

The 100 radars will not all arrive at once. The first will be handed over tomorrow, and all radars are expected to be delivered in 2026. The associated vehicles will arrive early next year.
