The Defence has ordered 150 versatile patrol vehicles for the Marine Corps. The contract will be officially signed at the end of June. It concerns a variant of the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) from the American manufacturer Oshkosh. They are expected to be delivered in 2028.

The JLTV is unarmored and reliable. It can be used during operations in the most challenging terrains and under various climatic conditions. A maintenance contract will also be concluded with Oshkosh.

Delighted

The Marine Corps is delighted about the purchase. The vehicle has also been produced in large numbers and delivered to several NATO countries. This contributes to interoperability and thus to operational deployability.
