Compensation for high energy prices for households with block connections known
The price ceiling does not always align well with households that have a block connection for gas, heat, or electricity. The cabinet is therefore urgently working on a scheme to help this group with high energy prices. The scheme is expected to be completed by mid-February. Several parties, including housing corporations, have requested an estimate of the compensation so that they can take this into account when determining the energy advances for their tenants or members. The government is therefore now providing an indication of the compensation. The final compensation paid per application to the homeowners association (VvE) or landlord will still depend on the further elaboration of the scheme.
