A significant portion of the innovative Dutch entrepreneurs can be found in a special NL Pavilion. This year, for the first time, startups, scale-ups, and established manufacturing companies and organizations will be located together. Minister Beljaarts will open the pavilion and support these Dutch (high-tech) companies that are forming new collaborations with other businesses and investors at Hannover Messe.
During the Hannover Messe, the minister will also receive an agenda from the Dutch (supplying) automotive sector, which exports 20 billion euros annually, 44% of which goes to Germany. The agenda emphasizes the strategic importance of the sector for the Dutch economy and includes concrete proposals to strengthen the position of the Netherlands as a leader in sustainable mobility.
Minister Beljaarts will also host a large round table discussion between top Dutch and German entrepreneurs, knowledge institutions, and governments regarding European competitiveness, innovation cooperation, technologies such as AI, semiconductors, and economic security.
The Hannover Messe has been held since 1947 and attracted over 130,000 visitors from more than seventy countries last year. More than 4,000 companies are present at the fair, where agreements are made regarding collaborations and investments in innovative products and services.
