State Secretary Mona Keijzer (Economic Affairs and Climate): “With the Compensation for Fixed Costs, we continue to support entrepreneurs so they can focus as effectively as possible on reopening and recovery. All entrepreneurs can choose between two reference periods for the second quarter. This also enables starters who began a year ago to apply for the TVL. With these and other support measures, we aim to ensure that our entrepreneurs reach the finish line.”

Choice between 2 reference periods

Entrepreneurs have the option to choose the third quarter of 2020 as a reference period instead of the second quarter of 2019. This primarily helps entrepreneurs who, due to various circumstances such as renovations, have made less or no revenue in the original reference period in 2019. Additionally, this also includes start-up entrepreneurs who registered in the Trade Register before June 30, 2020, making them eligible for the TVL scheme.
