This year, the technical tax amendments for the islands of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, and Saba will be bundled in the Tax Consolidation Act BES Islands 2027. This legislative proposal includes a change in wage tax, allowing certain cars provided to employees to be included in the final tax assessment by the employer. Additionally, an adjustment has been made to the general spending tax (ABB), which means that parent and subsidiary companies no longer need to pass this tax on to each other. These changes will lead to a reduction in administrative burdens.
