Minister of State Winnie Sorgdrager will provide advice on the conditions for a sustainable collaborative relationship between the Ministry of Finance and the Foundation (Equal) Recovery (SGH) to achieve a successful continuation and scaling up of the SGH route for affected parents with additional damage.

State Secretary Sandra Palmen (Recovery and Allowances) writes this in a letter to the House of Representatives. Following the advice of the Van Dam committee, the cabinet wants the SGH route to scale up as quickly as possible, in a manner that is explainable to the parents and society, and where the story of the parent is central. At this moment, the foundation is unable to scale up. In recent days, a deadlock has arisen again due to a difference of opinion regarding the conditions necessary for successful implementation, scaling up, and settlement of the SGH route.

According to State Secretary Palmen, Sorgdragers advice is necessary to break the deadlock and provide parents with clarity as soon as possible.
