Mr. Boeree has been acting president of the Central Appeals Tribunal since April 1, 2025. She is also a state councilor in extraordinary service at the Administrative Jurisdiction Division of the Council of State and a deputy judge at the Trade and Industry Appeals Tribunal. Previously, she was a judicial board member and senior judge at the Central Appeals Tribunal. Earlier, Mr. Boeree worked as a judge at the Amsterdam District Court in various legal fields including administrative law, immigration law, and family and juvenile law.

The Central Appeals Tribunal is one of the four highest administrative courts in the Netherlands, alongside the Supreme Court, the Administrative Jurisdiction Division of the Council of State, and the Trade and Industry Appeals Tribunal. The Central Appeals Tribunal rules on appeals in the areas of social insurance, social provisions, and civil servant matters. It is also the court for cases concerning the implementation of laws for war and persecution victims and for appeals by judicial officers. The president, together with a judicial board member and a non-judicial board member, forms the board of the Central Appeals Tribunal.
