Appointment of Chief Public Prosecutor Sint Maarten
The Council of Ministers has approved the appointment of Mrs. M.L.P. Ridderbeks as Chief Public Prosecutor in Sint Maarten. She will take office on August 1 as the successor to Mr. H. Buist, who will be appointed Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor at the National Public Prosecutors Office on July 1.
Mrs. Ridderbeks is currently working as a senior public prosecutor and substitute investigating officer at the Limburg Public Prosecutors Office. She is no stranger to Sint Maarten: she previously held the position of public prosecutor on the island.
This appointment ensures continuity and expertise in the leadership of the Public Prosecution Service in Sint Maarten.
