Balance
The EUDR requires companies to maintain records. To ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible, the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LVVN), the NVWA, and Customs will again use this year to clarify cooperation with companies regarding the EUDR.
The government aims for a balance between reducing burdens and achieving nature goals. In the coming year, the Netherlands will advocate within the European Union for actual burden relief.
Additionally, the government will take the initiative in communication towards the interest groups of various sectors, so companies can prepare well to meet all requirements in the future.
