The court has instructed the ministry to repair the permit with a recovery decision or to issue a new permit. Because the permit was annulled, Schiphol Airport is operating without a valid nature permit.

“This tolerance decision provides clarity for Schiphol, residents, and other stakeholders,” says State Secretary Rummenie. “It is highly undesirable for our national airport to operate without a nature permit. The tolerance decision gives us time to come to a well-founded and careful recovery decision or new permit.”
