This concerns the following:
- Participation Act;
- Income Provision Act for Older and Partially Disabled Unemployed Workers (IOAW);
- Income Provision Act for Older and Partially Disabled Former Self-Employed Persons (IOAZ);
- General Old Age Pensions Act (AOW);
- General Surviving Relatives Act (Anw);
- Work and Employment Support for Young Disabled Persons Act (Wajong);
- Unemployment Insurance Act (WW);
- Work and Income according to Labor Capacity Act (WIA);
- Disability Insurance Act (WAO);
- Sickness Benefits Act (ZW);
- Allowances Act (TW).
The increase in these benefits is due to their linkage to the statutory minimum wage.
The minimum wage will rise as of January 1, 2026, from an effective €14.40 per hour (based on a 36-hour workweek) to €14.71 per hour.
Additionally, the minimum youth wages will be revised as of January 1, 2026, increasing by the same percentage. Furthermore, child benefits will be increased in line with consumer price developments.
