Adjustments to the support package due to economic recovery
The social and economic impact of the coronavirus is rapidly diminishing, and the economy is recovering. It is also significantly better than was expected four weeks ago at the announcement of the new support package. The cabinet sees this as a reason to make a change to the wage subsidy NOW. Now that all companies may open, employers in the new package may report a loss of revenue of up to 80 percent. Additionally, the cabinet extends the period in which entrepreneurs can apply for tax deferral until October 1.
