Odile Frauenfelder: “The current labor market requires a broader view on the deployment of people who want to work in care and welfare. Besides nurses, caregivers, and nursing specialists, there are fortunately more and more people who want to work in this important sector. It is therefore great to see that roles such as assistants, support roles, and informal care are increasingly being utilized. This requires good coordination, tailored training, on-the-job appreciation, and assurance across all care domains.”
Frauenfelder has gained broad experience in the care and welfare sector over the past 40 years, including 13 years as a nurse and 25 years as a nursing specialist in the hospital. She then held various roles in mental health care (GGZ) and in nursing, care, and home care (VVT).
Odile Frauenfelder will primarily focus on a future-proof labor market in the coming period. She is currently working as Director of Quality and Safety and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at Bloezem. Frauenfelder fulfills the role of CNO for about 16 hours a month alongside her current duties.
