In the amended SVVE, improvement proposals from market parties, homeowners associations, and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) have been incorporated. During the internet consultation, everyone can respond to the proposed changes. This can be done until August 18, 2025. After that, the final regulation will be drafted. This will come into effect on January 1, 2026.
Over € 100 million extra and extension of the term
The amended regulation includes the following changes:
- The SVVE currently runs until 2027. The term will be extended until 2030.
- The subsidy ceiling for sustainability advice, research, and measures will be increased from over € 76 million to € 179 million.
- The limit of a maximum of € 2.5 million subsidy per association will be removed. However, a maximum subsidy amount will remain applicable for individual apartments.
- The required insulation value for secondary glazing or secondary glazing for monuments will be lowered.

About the SVVE
The SVVE supports (mixed) homeowners associations, housing associations, and housing cooperatives in making their building more sustainable. The subsidy consists of three components: sustainability research, advice, and measures, charging point advice, and basic charging infrastructure.
