Former VVD Senator Pieter Hofstra Passes Away at Age 78

On January 2, former senator Pieter Hofstra passed away at the age of 78. From June 12, 2007, to June 7, 2011, Hofstra served in the Senate, often representing the interests of motorists on behalf of the VVD. He also focused on public transport and implementing road pricing. Pieter Hofstra will be commemorated at a later date.
