On January 19, 2025, former senator Jan Mijnsbergen passed away at the age of 86. He was a member of the Senate for the PvdA, focusing on traffic and spatial planning. His dedication and involvement are greatly appreciated. Mijnsbergen will be commemorated at a later date.
