Lous Coppoolse and Jan de Graaf were part of the same faction from January to June 2007. They joined the CDA faction just before the Senate elections in the spring of 2007. They will be commemorated at a later date.
Former senator Lous Coppoolse passed away on September 19 at the age of 79. He was a member of the CDA faction in the Senate from January 16, 2007, to June 12, 2007. Coppoolse was a geography teacher before serving as a member of the Provincial States of Zeeland for seventeen years from 1987 to 2004, eight of which he spent as a member of the Executive States. In the Senate, he focused on education.
On September 21, former senator Jan de Graaf passed away at the age of 84. De Graaf was a member of the CDA faction in the Senate from March 6, 2007, to June 12, 2007. Previously, he was a member of the House of Representatives, a member of the Executive States of Flevoland, and a member of the municipal council of Dronten. Additionally, he served as an alderman in Dronten from 2012 to 2014. In the Senate, he also focused on education.
