Commission finds TikToks ad repository may breach the Digital Services Act
The Commission informed TikTok that it might be breaching the Digital Services Act (DSA) by failing to provide sufficient information about ads, their content, and who pays for them. This limits researchers and the public from staying informed about misleading ads.
Henna Virkkunen emphasized the importance of transparency in online ads to protect democratic processes integrity. The preliminary findings are based on in-depth research and expert consultations.

EU provides €120 million in humanitarian aid to Latin America and the Caribbean in 2025

Commission approves a new geographical indication for Portugal
