EU boosts humanitarian response for Gaza, Syria, and Lebanon with €83 million
The European Commission has allocated an additional €50 million in humanitarian funding for Gaza and the West Bank, bringing total aid in 2025 to €170 million. This will enable our partners to increase aid supplies for civilians in need.
For North-East Syria, an extra €20 million has been granted, raising the total humanitarian aid for Syria in 2025 to €202.5 million. Additionally, €13 million is allocated to Lebanon to support the most vulnerable Syrian refugees and Lebanese.
Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib stated: “We are increasing our support to partners to help meet urgent needs and alleviate the suffering of the Palestinians. In Syria, were focusing on the north-eastern region, and in Lebanon, we support vulnerable communities.”

EU announces €80 million humanitarian aid package for Yemen
The Commission has announced €80 million in EU humanitarian funding for 2025 to support people in need in Yemen.
This aid targets food, healthcare, and education, implemented through EU partners such as UN agencies and NGOs.
