Eurobarometer shows record high trust in the EU and strong support for the euro and a common defense and security policy
The latest Eurobarometer survey reveals that 52% of Europeans trust the EU, the highest level in 18 years. Support for the euro is also at a record high, with 74% in the EU and 83% in the eurozone. In todays geopolitical climate, more than 8 in 10 Europeans want a stronger EU policy. 80% of Europeans support welcoming refugees from Ukraine, and over 76% back financial and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

The Commission approves a new geographical indication for France
The Commission has added Pérail to the register of Protected Geographical Indications (PGI). Pérail is a soft cheese made from whole sheeps milk, produced in the southwest of the Massif Central.
