ENERGY MEASURES
Prohibitions are placed on temporary storage for Russian oil within the EU and on technology for Russian crude oil projects, impacting Russias revenue and production capabilities.
TRADE MEASURES
A gradual ban on Russian aluminium imports is introduced, reducing EU dependence from 16% in 2020 to 6% in 2024. Additional export restrictions target military-use goods.

Bans are extended to third-country airlines operating in Russia and on increasing Russian ownership in EU transport companies.
