You are asking the toughest question of our time: Europe without the US - is it possible?

It mainly concerns security and defense: what happens to European security if the Americans reduce their military presence?

My answer is short: yes, it is not only possible, but we must be prepared to assume full responsibility for Europes defense.

We must focus not only on material defense but also on institutional and political organization.

The war in Ukraine and increasing Russian aggression, alongside the American withdrawal, pose a huge challenge for Europe.

But as often said, use a crisis to make bold decisions and reforms.

European defense must be strong and self-sufficient. We need to learn from Ukraine and the UK and update our military strategies.

Europe must be ready for the threats and American withdrawal, and we must work with Ukraine and the UK to build a strong European security architecture.
