Thank you for this important debate on Lithuanias Independence Day. In 1990, Lithuania regained independence from Soviet rule. We must prevent such threats in the 21st century.

We must protect our children from facing situations like those of Ukrainian children. Happy Independence Day to Lithuania!

Europe must understand the risk of losing independence and be ready to defend it. Russias war spending surpasses EUs combined spending.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte emphasizes that Russias weapon production outpaces NATOs annual output in just three months.

Your support in this debate is crucial for Ukraine and European defence. Next week, we present the White Paper focused on investment and defence industry capabilities.
