The Justice and Security Committee will discuss the police on Wednesday, July 2, in various meetings. From 10:00 to 11:00 and from 11:00 to 12:00, discussions will take place regarding the financial situation of the police. At 14:00, a committee debate will follow, addressing various other aspects related to the police. For the committee debate, Minister of Justice and Security David van Weel will come to the House of Representatives.
Two Discussions on Finances
In two rounds, the committee members will discuss the financial situation of the police. Present are:

- Rinus Otte, Chairman of the Board of Prosecutors General
- Jeroen Dijsselbloem, Regional Mayor of East Brabant, Financial Portfolio Holder, and Mayor of Eindhoven
11:00-12:00
- Ton van Osch, Head of Department FBK (Finance, Business Operations, and Coast Guard) at the DG Police and Security Regions
- Nine Kooiman, Chair of the Dutch Police Union, on behalf of all police unions and the Central Works Council (COR)
Committee Debate
From 14:00, the committee members will debate various other topics related to the police. For example, the WODC report Continuously Serviceable and the Inspectorate report Facilitating or Limiting. Other topics include the approach to violence and preparations for the May 4 commemorations.
