This debate addresses the negotiations regarding the war in Ukraine and the role of the Netherlands in it.

Role of the Netherlands

The debate was requested on Tuesday, September 2, by faction leader Frans Timmermans (GroenLinks-PvdA) during the arrangement of work. “Ukraine needs a lot of support and clarity. Everyone wants peace, but it must come under the right conditions. I think it is high time for the Chamber to consider this subject again. The Dutch role is important. It is also seen as important by Ukraine,” said the Member of Parliament.
