The House of Representatives will debate the Spring Memorandum 2025 on Wednesday, June 18. The Minister and the State Secretary of Finance, Eelco Heinen and Tjebbe van Oostenbruggen, will come to the House for this. You can follow the debate from 10:35 AM via the livestream and Debat Direct.
In the Spring Memorandum, the Minister of Finance informs the House about the current state of affairs regarding the expenditures and revenues of the Kingdom for the current year. The memorandum provides an overview of the expenditures and revenues of the Kingdom and states whether this is in line with what has been agreed upon in the budget by the ministries. Positive surprises, disappointments, and policy changes during the budget year lead to changes in the current budget. These are processed in the so-called supplementary budget laws.
Changes
Minister Heinen sent the Spring Memorandum 2025 to the House on April 18. On June 13, after the resignation of the cabinet, he added a letter about changes.
