One hundred people who have direct contact with one or more public service providers will critically observe the accountability the cabinet has provided regarding the policy implemented in 2024 on Monday, May 26. The Committee for National Expenditures organizes the V-100 on that day.
Since 2017, the V-100 follows shortly after Accountability Day. The V stands for Accountability and the number 100 stands for the hundred citizens invited by the House to critically review the annual reports of the ministries.
Formulating Questions
During the V-100, the attending citizens formulate a number of questions for the cabinet in one day. These questions address issues and potential dilemmas in the implementation of policy. And what the House or the cabinet can do to improve public service delivery. At the end of the day, the questions are presented in the plenary hall to the House of Representatives. Throughout the day, participants are assisted by staff from the House and researchers from the Netherlands Court of Audit.
Implementation of Government Policy
This years theme for the V-100 is Implementation of Government Policy. The House invited people who have direct contact with one or more of the eight public service providers listed below. Each public service provider is linked to a House committee.

- Netherlands Enterprise Agency (Committee for Economic Affairs)
- Customs (Committee for Finance)
- Rijkswaterstaat (Committee for Infrastructure and Water Management)

Accountability Debate
One of the core tasks of the House of Representatives is to monitor the executed policy. It wants to involve society as directly as possible and therefore invites a group of one hundred people annually to formulate questions about the annual reports. Members of Parliament can pose these questions to the respective ministers during the Accountability Debate, which takes place on June 4, or during the legislative meetings regarding the annual reports and closure laws.
