The committees of the House of Representatives will receive a number of petitions on Tuesday, May 13, as is customary in every meeting week. Citizens and organizations wishing to express their views come to the building of the House of Representatives to do so in the form of a petition presentation. This time, the Members of Parliament will receive six petitions.
The petition presentation will take place between 1:15 PM and 2:00 PM in the central hall of the House of Representatives, the Statenpassage. Citizens and organizations will present the petitions to various committees. Members of Parliament from those committees will come to the Statenpassage to receive the petitions.
Petitions on Tuesday, May 13
- 1:15 PM: petition Stop Solitary Confinement in Mental Health Care on behalf of MIND to the Committee for Health, Welfare and Sport;
- 1:15 PM: petition regarding opportunities and challenges of geothermal energy in the Duin- and Bollenstreek region on behalf of Geothermal Rijnland to the Committee for Climate and Green Growth;
- 1:30 PM: petition Screen Off, Family On in the context of the theme of the Family Week to the Committee for Digital Affairs;
- 1:30 PM: petition Dont Ruin the Kollumerwaard to the Committee for Defense;
- 1:35 PM: petition regarding the preservation of the medicines bulletin on behalf of the Geneesmiddelenbulletin Foundation (Ge-Bu) to the Committee for Health, Welfare and Sport;
- 1:45 PM: petition regarding the bill to strengthen housing management on behalf of Homelessness Over! to the Committee for Housing and Spatial Planning.
