Citizens influence politics and the work of the House of Representatives, among other things through citizen initiatives. You can now see all citizen initiatives at a glance in a monitor on this website. It also clearly shows the status of the processing of all citizen initiatives.
A citizen initiative is a proposal from citizens to present a new topic for consideration by the House of Representatives. It aims to create, amend, or repeal a legal regulation or the policy pursued by the government. Citizens regularly use this tool to make their voices heard. This is made visible in the monitor.
