Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will address Parliament in the plenary hall of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, June 24 at 16:00. Zelensky is in The Hague for the NATO summit. The House of Representatives has invited him. The agenda of the House has been adjusted for this occasion. The question hour is canceled, the votes and the arrangement of work will be postponed by one day. The swearing-in of two members of Parliament has also been moved to Wednesday, June 25.
Third Speech
This is the third time President Zelensky addresses members of the House of Representatives. On March 31, 2022, he was the first foreign leader to address the House during a meeting in the plenary hall. A year earlier, the House had amended the Rules of Order to make this possible. This speech took place via a video connection. On May 4, 2023, Zelensky addressed the States General in the Senate.
