Since June 1, we have been offering the Flevoland Learns subsidy scheme. With this scheme, residents and employers can apply for subsidies for retraining or further education. This can range from a short training to a technical course or digital skills training. The scheme was developed in collaboration with regional partners and Regiodeal Nieuw Land to best meet the needs of the Flevoland labor market.
Investing in future personnel
The labor market is changing rapidly. Digitalization, robotization, and social developments create new tasks and roles, while sectors such as healthcare, technology, and ICT continue to experience high workloads. The conclusion is clear: investing in (future) personnel is more important than ever.
Continuing to learn and develop
By continuing to learn and develop, employees can better respond to changing tasks and technological innovations. For employers, focusing on skills helps attract and retain staff. For job seekers, education increases the chance of a sustainable job. This creates a resilient labor market where people remain flexible and organizations can progress. With Flevoland Learns, Flevoland takes a concrete step towards a future-proof economy where people have the space to keep developing. Together, we work towards a strong, skilled, and agile Flevoland.
