Entrepreneurs in the leisure sector can still apply for the subsidy scheme Enhancing the Experiential Value of Leisure Products until December 1 this year. We have made an amount of €183,634 available for this. A contribution of up to €30,000 per project is possible.
The Story of Flevoland
Flevoland has a special story: from sea to new land, full of innovation and pioneering spirit. Yet many people do not know this story yet. With this subsidy scheme, we want to encourage entrepreneurs to transform the Story of Flevoland into fun and educational leisure products. Think, for example, of walking routes, playgrounds, or murals supported by educational elements.
A nice example of such a product is the Experience Forest in Lelystad: they received a subsidy last year for the development of their new themed area. Through the new devices in this area, visitors take a journey through time: from a prehistoric swamp area and a self-built dike to the Flevoland ‘of today’.
