The provincial heritage program is celebrating its fifth year. Therefore, it was time to evaluate how the program has performed during this period. In November, we did this during three meetings: the Heritage Poldering sessions. The results of these sessions will be included in the evaluation of our heritage program. Everyone involved in heritage or archaeology in Flevoland and who wanted to share their ideas and vision was welcome at the meetings. This applied to people with experience in the activities and arrangements of the heritage program, as well as heritage practitioners and residents of monuments.

Review

The meetings began with a city walk led by a city guide. After a light meal, the group discussion started: this allowed everyone to get to know each other. Then the group split up, and each group had the chance to indicate what they appreciate about the province, but also what could be improved. And what the province can do in this regard. The meeting ended with a pleasant social drink.

We thank project agency Cultural Motion for the excellent leadership and Landscape Management Flevoland for the valuable support.
