From Monday, January 12, residents of Flevoland can apply for a subsidy for a home battery. This way, we want to stimulate the use of sustainable energy and help reduce energy costs. A home battery makes it possible to store self-generated solar power and use it later.

On the subsidy page you will find all information, conditions, and the application form.

Deputy Harold Hofstra: With this subsidy, we make it easier for Flevoland residents to store their own energy and reduce their energy costs. Together, we work towards a sustainable and reliable energy system.

Who is the subsidy for?

The subsidy is for homeowners and tenants. Tenants need permission from their landlord to install a home battery.

How much subsidy can you get?

If you buy a home battery, you get 25% of the costs back. The amount is at least €750 and at most €1,250 per application.

You can apply until October 1, 2027. A budget of €875,000 is available for both 2026 and 2027. The subsidy is granted in order of receipt of complete applications.
