More accessibility and new timetable

From Sunday 14 December 2025, many changes will occur for travelers in the regions. On important lines, more buses will run per hour. This means travelers will reach their destinations faster. New connections to business parks and villages will be established. Small communities will also be reachable by public transport: via reserveerRRReis, residents can book a ride until 9:00 PM. Arriva is refurbishing all 33 train sets. The trains will also get toilets, making travel more comfortable. It is expected that all trains will be fully renewed by 2027, including modern interiors and additional facilities.

Public transport in Achterhoek and Rivierenland

With this concession, we ensure accessibility of rural areas and sustainable public transport in Achterhoek and Rivierenland. These regions are characterized by many small communities with a social character. For livability, it is important that these are accessible by public transport. This way, people can meet each other. Electric buses, comfortable trains, and better connections ensure that residents and visitors can travel sustainably, easily, and quickly.
